Life as a School

                         Life as a school

I would like to liken life to a school.
What is a School? A school is an institution offering specialized instruction.
In a school there are stages such as the pre-primary, Primary, Junior high school, Senior high School, Tertiary Institutions, Advance schools. But there are different mode of operation.  Nigeria Educational curriculum operates on 6-3-3-4(six years of primary education, three years of junior secondary education, another three years of either technical education for those who were more interested in learning a trade or three years of senior secondary school for those who were more academically inclined. The last four years of the 6-3-3-4 system is for tertiary education).

What is Life? Life is the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body.
A mode of life embraces all the essential spheres of human activity: labor and the forms of its social organization, daily life, people’s use of their free time, their participation in political and social life, the forms through which they satisfy their material and intellectual needs, and the norms and rules of behavior that enter into everyday living.

Life is in stages(such as school) if you fail to pass the test of a particular stage there is a tendency that you won't proceed to the next stage. You need to realize that where you are right now is where you ought to be for the moment. Am sure you would say that's a fallacy😀.  But to be candid, trace the journey of your life to the present moment you would discover why you are where you are,and when you critically reflect you will also discover what you ought to do to proceed to the next stage of life. If you fail to discover you will remain stagnant.

Often times we complain I am not where I ought to be. I would like to ask, have you for once asked yourself why you are where you are? what you have to learn? or discover that  which will add value to your life? Perhaps, which will be very useful for you to overcome the next stage?

If you are yet to answer this questions truthfully, you are not prepared enough for the next stage.  When you answer the questions and act upon the answers you derive then you are beginning to get it right.

If you fail to study and commit things to your memory as a student, there is a tendency you will not pass the examination given to you at the end of the session and therefore you will not be promoted, so as well with the stages of life if you don't pass the challenges and get yourself equipped, you will remain static.

I urge you therefore, not to question your current position but rather, trace your journey so far to discover what brought you to the spot you are and what you need to learn and equip yourself with for you to proceed to the next stage.
Note: Wherever you are, you have a sense of responsibility, live up to that responsibility.

You are not where you are by mistake, you are there for a reason, discover the reason, discover what you have to learn, do, go, who you have to walk with and meet, so that you can make progress and never remain static in life.

Yes! You can live that amazing life you so desire.

Embrace Your Pain

Embrace Your Pain Recently I realized that if you fail to curtain or challenge what you ought to challenge they will keep hunting you. You will keep revolving round the cycles of Nowhere.  For years, I have been trying to avoid who I am now, I have tried so much to hide, although it's not been easy to accepting the fact that I have to Lead or become a Leader nor Speak, Teach and Coach People.  I am quite shy, I believe I don't have anything to say that people will listen to, I know nothing, no experience at all, I was terrified accepting the Youth Leadership role in my church, not fully prepared mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally. I failed so many times in implementing things that will cause better change, I keep avoiding challenges, I really don't want to hurt anyone, it really hurts me when I hurt someone.  But I realize if I keep holding back not wanting to hurt anyone to cause a greater change I will be known and regarded as useless an...

Stop Focusing On Your Problem

Stop focusing on your problem! There is always a day of trouble for everyman although the time frame may differ. When there is trouble, it means there is a problem and when there is a problem you are bound to look for solutions. So many times we are faced with problems and we tried all we could and no solution and we are on the verge of giving up. At times we complain alot about the problem, we made the problem so overwhelming that we can't think of anything else than to give up. You need to stop complaining, stop telling God how big your problem is, rather tell your problem how big your God is. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah  32:27 You need to get this right, there is no problem that has no solution. What you call a problem has been encountered by someone in the past, nothing is new underneath the sun. You need to see that problem as a stepping stone to your greatness, don't run away from the problem,...
